The main objective of the project was to introduce and improve quality standards and mechanisms to providers of private higher education in Kosovo, in order to facilitate comparability, reliability and quality assurance practices in accordance with the principles of Bologna and strategy for the Development of Higher Education in Kosovo (2005-2015).
The project the process of curriculum development based on learning outcomes and research guided teaching of classes in private institutions of higher education in Kosovo.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor project is an annual assessment of entrepreneurial activities, aspirations and attitudes of individuals across a wide range of countries. GEM is the largest ongoing study of entrepreneurial dynamics in the world which cover 75% of world population and 89% of global GDP. Universum hosts the Kosovo National Team to conduct country report.
In the framework of the UNDP project, we have signed a contract to deliver two training for officials of Dragash municipality and members of the local working group. During the two-months period thre will be two full days training on Leadership and Organizational skills, and a two months training Office Management.
Universum College runs an EU project on Training and Education of youth for Rural Tourism Development. The purpose of this assignment is to support identified potential and existing entrepreneurs and institutions from the project area regarding development of the tourism industry in rural areas. The specific objective of this assignment is to provide training to project beneficiaries (rural households, unemployed young individuals and women and relevant associations and institutions) on business startup, handicraft, and institutional development.
Universum College won the project from USAID / YEP to train 1,000 young people. The main objective of this project was to support 1000 young entrepreneurs (age 18-35) in 16-20 different municipalities with several stages. In the end every new entrepreneur who is successful will be able to develop a viable business plan.
Universum has carried out training in various countries for USAID program for Young Entrepreneurs (YEP) and has trained over 180 participants in four different countries (Prishtina, Strpce, Klina, Gjakova).
Universum was sub-contracted by the European Commission to conduct training and business skills development for tourism entrepreneurs in Pristina region, as part of regional development strategies. Over 100 candidates were trained, including:
– Families with tourism development potential
– Municipal officials that support the development of tourism in the region
