Universum College has 152 Credit Mobility agreements and 9 active Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education projects. Our institution has more KA1 and KA2 projects than the majority of HEIs in Kosovo, combined.
Internationalization of our university remains as one of our academic and professional priorities. As a part of our policy we consistently update our internationalization strategies in order to optimize the mechanisms that facilitate professional exchanges amongst staff and students. Hence, we are always looking forward to establish cooperation with respective institutions across Europe and beyond. Universum College is recognized as the most internationalized institution in Kosovo. This subsequently has resulted from the ever increasing number of students and staff whom have obtained international experience by participating in exchange activities, projects as well as joint partnerships with various institutions worldwide. With three different innovative campuses in the most dynamic and attractive cities in Kosovo, Universum College has always been the number one selection of both native and international students. Hence, we strive to keep our trophy and consistently look for new partners and cooperating institutions.
We are fully committed to internationalization in order:
- to strengthen international thinking, culture and development by focusing on research, studies and exchanges,
- to increase the number of partnerships and reduce the impact of stereotypes resulting from communication and cultural barriers amongst people of different backgrounds,
- to increase the international competitiveness of Universum College, by boosting the number of mobility of international students,
- to minimize the number of students and staff who have not experienced international opportunities and participated in joint activities,
- to promote Universum College and Kosovo on the international arena by ensuring qualitative, professional and entertaining partnerships.
Within Erasmus + Credit Mobility program we are consistently looking for partnerships, aiming at increasing the number of exchange students, faculty and staff in order to further expand our cooperation and creating international partnerships. The table below consists of our current partners. However, we are currently in ongoing negotiations with many other partnering institutions. Thus, jointly we want to enhance our academic and cultural backgrounds and experiences.

e-VIVA (Enhancing and Validating Service-Related Competencies in Versatile Learning Environments in Western Balkan Universities)
This project aims at creating a blended learning approach to facilitate and validate competence development related to service orientation in rather informal learning contexts in higher education institutions and workplace learning contexts. Its contribution relies in the demonstration of those competencies that are of fundamental importance in the labor market and that are acquired to a large extent in non-formalized learning contexts. With its approach of combining higher education and professional practice, e-VIVA will contribute to an improved transparency of the acquired competencies in a transnational comparative scale. Moreover, it will provide learning and validation opportunities in highly contextualized and individualized learning settings. All this will also create new learning pathways and eventually lead to a better matching of learning contents and individual learning styles (preferences).
