The aim of the program is to provide a Master’s Program course of study that develops the understanding and academic knowledge of Public Sector organization, the services offered to the citizens and the key functions of management in structuring the delivery of these services, along with the transferable skills and their application. This includes independent learning and research to a level that demands an integrated and critical approach to management and related practices. Through class activities, guest speakers and joint research projects, students are able to strengthen the relationship with the public organizations.

On successful completion of the program, students should be able to be equipped with various skills such as knowledge and understanding of the courses, advanced cognitive skills, with practical and professional skills and equipped with transferable skills. Students completing this degree are eligible and well equipped to hold various public servant positions in public organizations, state institutions and municipal directories./departments. Successful graduates will be able to perform complex task requiring a) addressing critical public service management issues, b) selecting and justifying approaches to problem solving in a manner which is self-directed and involving recognition, articulation and critical evaluation of a range of relevant options, c) use of theoretical constructs to critically analyze, evaluate and interpret evidence and apply them to complex problems, d) undertaking critical analysis and evaluation to a range of public service  related problems.

The normal minimum entry requirements for a candidate to be eligible for admission to Postgraduate programmes at the College’s courses are set out in the General Entry Requirements contained in the Prospectus. However, the absolute minimum criteria for a student to be admitted to this academic program, is that all students are expected to have successfully completed a relevant bachelor’s degree consisting of 180 ECTS credits at one of the nationally and or internationally accredited higher education institution. In addition, in order to be enrolled in our program, all applicants are required to bring the following documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • Bachelor/Undergraduate Diploma and Transcripts of Records
  • Legalized documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo for all those who have completed their education outside of the Republic of Kosovo/ Nostrification of the Diploma
  • Completing the application procedures and forms at Universum College
  • Passing the interview phase with admissions committee at Universum College
  • Valid English Language Certification
  • The contract of the study program if they meet eligibility criteria
