The aim of this programme is to provide students with capacities that are not only focused on the development of human resources, but also in expanding strategic capacities and encouraging innovation in order to mobilize a sector which is essential to the economic development.
This programme will become an important source of skill development of individual who see opportunities in the sector and are not satisfied with the status quo. Students will not only learn about the importance of tourism management, law procedures concerning culture heritage, and tourist behavior, they will also become competent in sustainable tourism and the greater aspect of social impact. Moreover, Universum College has been involved in two EU Project regarding the encouragement of cross-border cooperation, thus, this stream will focus on teaching students how to deepen such cooperation and strengthening the regional cooperation

On successful completion of the program, students should be able to be equipped with various skills such as knowledge and understanding of the courses, advanced cognitive skills, with practical and professional skills and equipped with transferable skills. Students completing this degree are eligible and well equipped to hold various managerial positions in private and public organizations. Students can perform positions which require a) providing services to the international body of visitors from abroad, b) arranging travel advisories, packages and complex travel situations, c) selecting and justifying approaches to problem solving in a manner which is self-directed and involving recognition, articulation and critical evaluation of a range of relevant options, planning, implementing and engaging in promotional activities both nationally and internationally, d) analyzing and advocating for policies related to tourism development, e) being able to draft and implement policy, plans and projects regarding tourism.
The normal minimum entry requirements for a candidate to be eligible for admission to Postgraduate programmes at the College’s courses are set out in the General Entry Requirements contained in the Prospectus. However, the absolute minimum criteria for a student to be admitted to this academic program, is that all students are expected to have successfully completed a relevant bachelor’s degree consisting of 180 ECTS credits at one of the nationally and or internationally accredited higher education institution. In addition, in order to be enrolled in our program, all applicants are required to bring the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- Bachelor/Undergraduate Diploma and Transcripts of Records
- Legalized documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo for all those who have completed their education outside of the Republic of Kosovo/ Nostrification of the Diploma
- Completing the application procedures and forms at Universum College
- Passing the interview phase with admissions committee at Universum College
- Valid English Language Certification
- The contract of the study program if they meet eligibility criteria
