About UNI Global Honors College
UNI Global Honors College will be UNI's premium segment — a dedicated, top-tier offering positioned above the university's core academic schools, delivered entirely in English and housed in UNI's new, state-of-the-art campus. At its center is an integrated dual degree pathway with Arizona State University: in four years, students graduate with both a Bachelor's degree from UNI and a Master's degree from ASU, a single, seamless academic journey rather than two separate programs bolted together. Throughout their studies, Honors College students have full access to ASU's academic content and curriculum standards, master classes taught by ASU faculty, and the same global learning resources ASU students use — alongside the international faculty, Erasmus+ mobility, and Cintana Alliance network already built into the Honors College model. The result is a single school spanning three continents' worth of opportunity: UNI's foundation, ASU's global content and credential, and a pathway to international mobility.
Role Summary
The Director and Chief Growth Officer is the founding executive of UNI Global Honors College, charged with building the College from the ground up as a business and owning its commercial performance. The role is commercial rather than academic: study programs and academic quality remain under the Vice President for Academics. Reporting directly to the President, the Director owns the College's strategy, organization, and full admissions funnel — from lead generation and digital marketing through conversion and enrollment — and is accountable for the growth and marketing budget that funds it. A central priority is building the College's international recruitment pipeline: identifying priority source markets, establishing partner school and agent networks, and driving cross-border enrollment growth through them. This is an executive, high-accountability mandate for an experienced growth leader who wants to build and lead a new commercial function from the ground up, rather than optimize an existing one.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership of the Honors College
- Serve as the College's executive leader, setting its strategic direction, operating model, and launch plan.
- Define the UGC's positioning, value proposition, and academic-recruitment identity in partnership with the President.
- Establish the UGC's operating framework — processes, policies, and governance — as the founding leader of a new function.
- Brief the President and senior leadership regularly on build progress, targets, risks, and resourcing needs.
Organizational & Talent Leadership
- Build and lead the Honors College enrollment and recruitment organization, recruiting and developing the team required to hit targets.
- Set individual and team targets, coach performance, and build a high-accountability, goal-driven culture.
- Own organizational design, hiring plans, and career pathways as the College scales beyond its initial team.
Admissions Strategy & Growth Ownership
- Design and own the UGC's overall admission and student recruitment strategy, translating it into operating plans the team executes.
- Hold end-to-end accountability for the admissions funnel — from lead generation through application, conversion, and enrollment — setting the strategy and structure the team executes against.
- Use CRM and funnel data to identify drop-off points and direct improvements to conversion rates at every stage.
- Lead enrollment planning, forecasting, and post-mortem analysis against new-enrollment (NE) targets, presenting outcomes to senior leadership.
- Direct the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns (SEM, SEO, paid social, display), working with the marketing team and agency partners to drive qualified applicant leads.
- Partner with university leadership across Marketing, IT, and Academic Affairs to align the UGC's growth with institutional goals.
International Growth & Market Development
A core part of this role is building UNI Global Honors College's presence and pipeline in international markets.
- Identify and prioritize target international source markets based on demand, fit, and competitive landscape.
- Establish and govern a network of international partner schools, education agents, and counselors to drive qualified applicant flow.
- Serve as the College's senior representative at international fairs, agent conferences, and recruitment events in priority markets.
- Adapt admission strategy, messaging, and campaign approach to the needs and channels of each target region.
- Set the standard for, and oversee, the international student journey — from first inquiry through visa/documentation requirements, admission, and enrollment — ensuring the team delivers a seamless experience at every step.
- Own reporting on international funnel performance separately from domestic, presenting conversion and enrollment by market to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain a strategic view of competitor activity and shifting regulations in key markets, adjusting strategy and partnerships accordingly.
About You
You are a builder — someone energized by standing up a new function rather than optimizing an established one. You move comfortably between strategy and execution. You are fluent in English, strategy-driven, and motivated by hard enrollment targets.
Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in higher education admissions/recruitment is an asset but not required; consumer-facing sectors (education, retail, travel, telecom) are equally relevant.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading an enrollment, admissions, or business development function — ideally including a "from scratch" team build.
- Strong track record owning end-to-end admissions or sales funnels, including international/cross-border pipelines.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing and digital communications (SEM, SEO, paid social, website, analytics), with experience directing campaigns through specialist teams or agencies.
- Strong command of CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar) and enrollment/funnel reporting, with experience holding a team accountable to CRM discipline.
- Fluent English required, spoken and written; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related); Master's degree a plus.
- Willingness to be based in Prishtina, Kosovo.
